I have had a lot of friends in my life, but none as kind, as thoughtful, as motivating and as inspiring as Alimo. He has long been an example to me of how a human being should behave. He is the kind of person who makes sure everyone feels included. He always goes above and beyond expectations, even when he thinks no one will notice. He knows how to keep a team focused and how to prioritize. He is forward thinking and always anticipates what needs to be done next to keep a project going. He demonstrated this well last year when he was the team member who quietly arranged a rain date for last year's Business Department job fair. No one would have even known about the efforts he took to ensure the event's success if there hadn't been tumultuous thunder storms that day. Alimo has always been there to help his friends weather any storm. That is why I am honored to know him and proud to be part of his graduating class. As my classmates and I move out into the world of business, I am sure that I will not be the only one to look to Alimo to be an example of an honorable and successful businessman, just as he has been an example of a trusted friend, a thoughtful team member and a hard-working student.
